Hue, Vietnam

Hue was a mandatory 6-hour stop over from Hoi An to Hanoi. T took this opportunity to get a dental-wire bent back after it had popped out. It was touch-and-go but he's back in the game. Paul and I were able to hop on the second half of a full day tour. This took us to the citadel, a buddhist pagoda and finally a recommended boat cruise down the perfume river.

The citadel is an old small city, surrounded by a wall, 10km in circumference. There was some pretty cool architecture and sculptures inside.

Outside the main gate.
Babu goes to SE asia (seinfeld fans?)...
little shrine at the back of the pagoda.
some monks in training, discussing the meaning of life, enlightenment and who was better, early skinny buddha or older fatter budha.

The boat trip didn't produce any blog-worthy pics.
